If the leather was more of a tobacco or mocha color I think it may be better.

I love this Jeep. My dad had a ‘96 Laredo with the I6 and then traded it in on a 3 speed Neon :(

Ya, the green is all that makes different from the regular Cherokee too.

AFAIK it’s the same bulletproof I6 that has been in the Cherokee and Wrangler for years. We never had a problem with it. The only reason he sold it was because my brother was going to college and he was trying to save some money. I remember being pissed at the time since that Jeep was so cool but now I see he was just being a good dad and putting his kids first. - middle class problems haha

The I6's are bulletproof. The rest of the vehicle not so much, but those I6's are damn near indestructible.

I mean with the green, that's a must.

The I-6s are known for being nigh impossible to kill.

There are oil leak issues (valve cover & rear main seal to be specific), and they do take upkeep like any other engine, but the block and internals are built way sturdier than they ever needed to be. They’ll just keep chugging along well after the rest of the car has fallen apart around them.
I don’t know much about the 5.2 but I can’t say I’ve ever heard anything bad about them.

Is there one for sale? They are rare as hen’s teeth, but don’t command a price that makes you think so. I saw one not too long ago going for about 4K and it has sub 6 figure mileage.
